Toilet location and restraint
Fixed or removable toilet: decide who moves it, and when
Choose a toilet location by separating travel restraint, everyday access and intentional removal, then check the exact manufacturer's instructions.

Waterless toilet guides
Guides that match a toilet system to the space, usage pattern, disposal route and country — not to the marketing claim.
Buying in Europe? Check the destination country, delivered price, available spare parts and regional warranty support. EU countries do not share one disposal rule: confirm the requirements for the country and site where the toilet will be used.
Start with separating versus composting toilets, then match a system to your space and routine. Use our free toilet planning calculators for your own measurements.
Off-grid toilet installation procurement
Check the evidence behind your toilet parts order
Turn an off-grid toilet installation checklist into a parts order with confirmed kit contents, matched connections and clearly held items.
Toilet operation and fault diagnosis
Changed toilet odour: decide what to check and when to stop
Use a model-specific fault record to check operation and the ventilation path, recognise unresolved faults, and prepare a useful support request.
Buying reviews
Trelino Evo M review: does it fit your campervan routine?
A research-based Trelino Evo M review covering space, container access, Standard versus Plus+, servicing and the checks to make before ordering.
Occupancy and service records
Keep a first-month toilet log that separates routine from capacity
Record occupancy, separate service events and the reason each container was changed, then choose a provisional routine without overstating capacity.
Ownership cost planning
Which toilet cost assumption could change your decision?
Use ownership-cost scenarios to find the usage threshold and uncertain inputs that could change your choice, with clearly hypothetical arithmetic.
Campervan toilet service access
Before building toilet furniture, rehearse the whole service job
Check hands, tools, removable panels and component routes before permanent campervan furniture makes toilet servicing awkward.
Off-grid toilet trip planning
How much toilet cover material should you pack for a trip?
Turn a measured scoop, expected solids uses and fresh-bag allowances into a cover-material packing plan with visible assumptions.
Everyday use
Make a separating-toilet guest card people can follow
Turn the operating instructions into a short, model-specific guest card, with a Trelino example and a practical check before visitors arrive.
Campervan toilet power planning
Put your toilet fan into the campervan’s daily battery budget
Convert a continuously running toilet fan into daily watt-hours, then include it in a realistic campervan trip budget using the fan calculator.
Separating toilet servicing
Plan a spare urine container around a clear rotation routine
Choose the correct spare bottle and closures, record which container is ready, and set a trip limit without treating storage as disposal permission.
Portable toilet comparison
Best portable composting toilet for a campervan: keep the trip simple

Installation space planning
Make a toilet measurement sheet that includes opening and removal
Measure the closed footprint, lid movement, container removal and access route before committing a van, boat or cabin layout.
Separating toilet cleaning and care
Clean a separating toilet with a component-by-component plan
Turn the exact toilet manual into a practical cleaning card for the separator, liquid container, solids container and small parts.
Capacity planning
Waterless toilet capacity: estimate a realistic emptying interval
Estimate waterless toilet capacity and emptying intervals from users, peak demand, separate waste streams, reserve capacity and disposal access.
