Our goal is a defensible answer, not the longest product list.

Evidence standard

Material product claims should trace to manufacturer documentation, current retailer data, applicable standards, direct measurements or clearly identified expert sources. We record when facts were checked.

Testing language

We distinguish research, expert review and hands-on testing. A product is never described as tested unless the stated test actually took place.

Commercial independence

Affiliate availability can affect which purchase links we can offer, but not the assessment. Products without affiliate programmes may still be recommended.

Corrections

Substantive corrections are dated. Readers can report an error through the contact method published with the relevant guide.
